Solana Foundation Partners with Dubai DMCC
The Solana Foundation joins DMCC as an ecosystem partner, offering technical and business support to DMCC Crypto Centre members.
The Solana Foundation has been inducted as an ecosystem partner for the DMCC, one of the major free economic zones in the United Arab Emirates. As per the announcement made on October 15, Solana, with its robust blockchain platform, is set to offer both technical and business development assistance to members of the DMCC Crypto Centre. This collaboration is not limited to just business support. Solana will also conduct webinars and educational sessions on a range of Web3 topics, further extending its grant program within the DMCC.

Solana's existing partners are poised to receive preferential treatment within the DMCC. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the CEO of DMCC, emphasized the mutual advantages, stating:
“We will provide complimentary setup and business licensing for Solana ecosystem projects whilst our members can access a world-class blockchain platform and dedicated Solana engineering teams that can take their businesses to new heights.”
It's worth noting that DMCC's ecosystem partners already comprise notable names such as the crypto exchange Bybit, digital asset market maker DWF Labs, Web3 incubator TDeFi, and venture capital fund Brinc, among others. The DMCC currently features a membership of 23,000 companies, further amplifying the significance of this partnership.
The DMCC, along with the Abu Dhabi Global Market and Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, represents the trio of pioneering economic free zones in the UAE. These zones were established with a vision to enhance the UAE's investment climate. The forthcoming addition to this group is the Ras Al Khaimah Digital Assets Oasis, which was showcased during Blockchain Life 2023.
