Paris Saint-Germain F.C., a leading French soccer club in collaboration with its cryptocurrency exchange sponsor, Crypto.com, is set to release matchday posters co-created using artificial intelligence tools. These posters, designed by the talented Benjamin Benichou, will be available as NFTs.

Benjamin Benichou, known for his use of generative AI in his artistic works, is the mastermind behind the poster series for PSG. From a total of 1,970 designs, only seven were handpicked for release as part of the NFT series.

These chosen posters will be showcased across seven matches in the upcoming season. The journey begins with the September 24 match against Olympique de Marseille in the Ligue 1 soccer league. All seven poster NFTs will be airdropped at no cost on Crypto.com's NFT platform. Eligible account holders will have the opportunity to claim these NFTs, with each being available in line with the matchday associated with the respective poster.

For fans who manage to collect all seven NFTs, there are added incentives. They stand a chance to win prints of Benicho's original poster artwork, autographed jerseys from PSG players, and even VIP tickets to witness the team's final home match of the season. Fabien Allègre, PSG's Chief Brand Officer, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with Benjamin Benichou.

"In continuing to explore new frontiers, Paris Saint-Germain is striving to redefine the future of sport, opening up unexplored horizons for new generations of supporters."

Benichou, who is also the CEO of the social e-commerce startup Drop, stated that:

"When you explore the intersecting potential of a brand as inspiring as Paris Saint-Germain and a tool as powerful as artificial intelligence, the possibilities for creation become infinite. This initiative paves the way for a new territory of artistic and creative expression where art meets technology."

Crypto.com inked a deal in 2021 to become PSG's inaugural official cryptocurrency platform partner. This partnership, which spans three years, is reportedly worth around $30 million.

In 2020, the club entered the Web3 space through a licensing agreement with the NFT fantasy sports game, Sorare. Furthermore, superstar Lionel Messi's decision to join PSG in 2021 included compensation through Socios crypto fan tokens.
