Recently, Binance, one of the world's leading crypto exchanges, found itself at the center of liquidity issues rumors. However, the company's CEO, Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, has come forward to set the record straight.

On September 7th, in a post on Twitter, CZ addressed the recent wave of negative news, rumors, and other challenges that have been creating an environment of FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) around Binance. He pointed out various factors, including bank runs, lawsuits, the closing of fiat channels, product wind-downs, and employee turnovers, as contributors to this atmosphere.

CZ was clear in his message regarding Binance's financial health, stating:

"Guess what we don't have? No liquidity issues. All withdrawals (and deposits) are properly handled. All customer funds are #SAFU, and 100% reserved."

Recent observations highlighted that at least 10 Binance executives departed between July and September. Some notable exits include Patrick Hillmann, the former chief strategy officer, and Steven Christie, the former senior vice president for compliance.

However, CZ addressed this concern by explaining that employee turnovers are a common occurrence in every company, more so in an evolving sector like cryptocurrency. He further mentioned that Binance likely has the lowest founding team turnover compared to other tech startups of similar size and age globally.

Despite the challenges, CZ highlighted several positive developments in the cryptocurrency industry. He pointed out the launch of new fiat channels and products, new hires, and expansions into new markets. Additionally, he mentioned significant legal victories in the crypto space, such as those achieved by Ripple and Grayscale Investment against the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
