Over 600 companies have disclosed substantial investments in the spot Bitcoin ETF. JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, and other major institutions are among the investors.

The largest Bitcoin ETF investor, Millennium Management, has made a $1.9 billion investment. In the past week, over 600 companies disclosed substantial investments in the spot Bitcoin ETF in their latest 13F filings with the SEC.

Bitwise's chief investment officer predicts that by the May 15 deadline, nearly 700 professional firms will have invested $5 billion in the spot Bitcoin BTC ETF. As of May 9, 563 professional investment firms reported holding $3.5 billion worth of Bitcoin ETFs.

Among these investors are Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, UBS, BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Canada, and hedge funds like Millennium Management and Schonfeld Strategic Advisors. Millennium Management leads as the largest BTC ETF investor with a $1.9 billion investment. They invested $844.2 million in BlackRock’s IBIT, $806.7 million in Fidelity’s FBTC, $202 million in Grayscale’s GBTC, $45.0 million in Ark’s ARKB, and $44.7 million in Bitwise’s BITB.

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, managing $13 billion in assets, ranks as the second-largest spot BTC ETF investor with a $248 million investment in IBIT and a $231.8 million investment in FBTC, totaling $479 million. Boothbay Fund Management, based in New York, disclosed a $377 million exposure to spot Bitcoin ETFs, including investments in IBIT, FBTC, GBTC, and BITB.

Pine Ridge Advisers from New York announced a $205.8 million investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs, covering BlackRock's IBIT, Fidelity’s FBTC, and Bitwise's BITB. Morgan Stanley invested $269.9 million in Grayscale’s GBTC, making them a significant GBTC holder. Aristeia Capital LLC invested $163.4 million in IBIT.

Graham Capital Management declared a $98.8 million investment in IBIT and $3.8 million in FBTC. CRCM L.P disclosed a $96.6 million investment in IBIT, while Fortress Investment Group LLC invested $53.6 million in IBIT.

The spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) launched in January saw massive demand initially but has seen dwindling inflows recently. Nonetheless, numerous financial institutions have disclosed significant investments in the spot BTC ETF.
